Cairo Vintage has them in bunches, along with great guy's sweaters and cardigans, tees and jackets. Everything is hand-picked for their store in Seattle, but their etsy shop sure hosts lots of highlights.

October Wishlist

I thought I'd be all shopped out after the wedding thing, but all I see around me is stuff I want, want, want! I'm looking forward to no more big plans for awhile and just having time to relax and settle into life- decorating the house, working on the yard and dressing in lots of layers as the mercury drops. October seems to have settled into my bones already as my wishlist is filled with things that are a little unusual, a little twisted, a little dark. I'm liking brown, white, grey and gold this month, lots of ceramics and natural gemstones.

Wanderlust

I have more Portland love to spread today for the new vintage-shop-on-wheels, Wanderlust!

It's cute as a button, just like co-owner Vanessa (who I met at the Summit of Awesome so was a witness to said cuteness) She and her husband have been working hard to fix up this adorable vintage trailer and transform it into a little shop of wonders- they carry vintage clothing and handmade goodies too, like Showpony bags and chalkboards by Mary Kate McDevitt (who is also cute as a button, btw)

Restless General Store

Joanna tweeted about this shop a couple weeks ago and I fell head over heels, instantly! The Restless General Store is a UK based shop full of well-loved, salvaged goodness. You'll find neat vintage books, belts and bags, planters and vases and lots of fun stuff, all styled in such a perfect way- it's a treat just to look thru!

Jule's Atelier

L'atelier de Jule is soo getting me ready for fall. Filled with the cutest vintage dresses and other clothing from Japan (mostly), I love the style of everything so much! And I'm loving all the luscious browns that permeate thru the shop. And how adorable is the owner/model!? SO cute!

Flower on the Wall Vintage

Taking a cue from Liz, I'm sticking with the back to school theme for the day... What I'm really wanting this fall is more boots and bags. And flower on the wall vintage has plenty of both! And these are actual vintage, one-of-a-kind pieces scoured from around South Dakota. They even have some good shoe picks for hard to find too-big-for-vintage-feetsies like mine (size 10) Yippee!

Tree and Kimball Market

From all of my selections for the etsy article, I really have a growing fondness for Tree and Kimball Market. It's a new discovery for me and it's filled with amazing casual summery goodness, from shoes to shorts to sunhats. Love! And the shopkeep also has another store filled with gorgeous lacey handmade jewelry. She's a swoonfest, she is.

Vintage Fantastic Friday! Blue Carrot Shop

By the way, I just sang "vintage fantastic friiii-daaaayyy!" outloud as I was writing the title of this post. Yes, I'm really that dorky.

Today's pick is the fantastically well curated Blue Carrot Shop! It just recently opened and is stocked full of vintage kitschy coolness for your home, including a whole section of letterpress blocks. 

I personally am eyeing some of these pink kitchen accessories, which is funny to me because I normally recoil in horror at the sight of powder pink, but not anymore. I think my little 50's kitchen is changing me!
