It's Labor Day weekend here in the states, which signals the unofficial end of summer. Ahh, summer...I've enjoyed your sunny days and flowers, your birthdays and long walks in long light. But I must admit, I'm ready for the dreary, gloomy Portland I know and love! I'm ready for sweaters and soup and rain dripping off the roof. How about you? Are you ready for summer to end yet?
I'll be taking Monday off for the long weekend (and we're going to get the last wall we have to paint done this weekend. Yes! We! Will!) so, I'll see you back here on Tuesday! Hope you have a happy weekend!

Lol. I love this post. I'm in Houston but we moved from Holland, MI. I miss the gray days! I enjoy the slightly pensive, melancholy, cozy way of them. We visited Portland last year--it's a lovely place to live. Enjoy your fall! I'm jealous! :)
