Ok, enough of this grey and soggy depression I've been in. I'm going to embrace this rain. Take it as a little reminder from nature to let go of my expectations, cause I can't necessarily expect it to be sunny and 80 degrees in June, eventhough it usually is and damn I really wish it was. I chose Portland. Portland is rainy quite a bit. I gotta just deal with it.
And deal with it I will...
I can't help but think I'd actually have fun leaving the house for the soggy outdoors if I could skip along in some of these lovely rainboots. Problem is, which boots to choose? I like them all! Which pair do you guys like best?
See by Chloe boots in niagra : $156 (on sale)
Hunter originals in yellow : $125
Hunter original gloss in pea green : $103.50 (on sale) I also like the grey, but those aren't on sale
Vivienne Westwood ankle boots in grey : $134
Ooh! they're all fun but the pea green! and it's on sale! ding ding ding!

The blue ones with the yellow laces are definitely my favourite!

I love the aqua color of the Chloe boots, but like the classic style of the Hunters. Ohhh I'd love to have a pair of each of them in all the colors. So fun!
I've always wanted rain boots, but in Texas, the rain is unpredictable... I'm wishing for your kind of weather right now. Outside it is 84 and just now 10:30... in a few hours it will be in the high 90s... we may get a little shower today (hopeful - for my plants). Funny how we always wish for what we don't have. :)
Hope you enjoy splashing in the puddles!!
xoxo,
Bonnie

Ooh, I'm torn between the yellow and green. But I think I'd go with the yellow so I could lounge in them at home and match my upcoming decor. Is that sad? Yah, I think it might be.

the see by chloe with the yellow laces are so cool.
I live in the desert so really would never need them.

I like the Wellies! I have a pair of purple ones, and they do make me feel better about the rainy days :) PS if you get tall rain boots you can jump right into puddles and stuff!!

I know! The price really isn't bad. I am trying to justify them. I did just get paid, but...I'm trying to be good! :o) But I really, really like them!

Love the green ones !!

I'd go for the aqua with laces. I'd definitely go for something tall- my water-resistant hiking boots are about as tall as the gray ones with the bows, and while my feet stay dry, my pants do no such thing.

the chloe's are super cute, but practically, i'd stick with the yellow. they're traditional rain boot color!

So cute! Love that you posted these as I have been looking to get some of these rain boots for my move to Portland (from LA) in August:)

Oh this is my thing....Hunters are super great and comfy. But I must sheepishly tell you that walmart has an incredibly great pair for $15.00. They look a bit strange online but I assure you they are good looking & comfy. Happy puddle jumping. Is Jazz De'Opus still there? Did I say that right? tare care.

I'm definitely putting in my vote for some Hunters. Classic look but the colors make them fun. The yellow are pretty darn cute. The Chloe's are beautiful but I guarantee you'll be wondering what to pair them with!

yellow! they'll be your sunshine on rainy days.

Ooo I've wanted Hunters for ages, so my vote's for the pea green, which are perfection...

I love the pistachio / turquois rainboots. That would make any rainy day more sunny :)

I love the Chloe ones too. I have some JCrew wellies in matte hunter green with pink ribbon that have served me well from NYC all the way down to Savannah.
