Back from the Maker Faire and I'm so mad at myself, I didn't take ONE picture! Not ONE! I guess I forgot that blog posts are pretty boring without pics, along with the fact that I was so overwhelmed and awestruck that it didn't even occur to me to take a picture. My boyfriend snapped a couple pics and I will have to rely on the fatabulous flickr folk for the rest!
It was lovely day spent in San Mateo- there were fiery fighting robots inside and crazy carnival contraptions made from bikes outside. 
My favorite part was the Bazaar Bizzarre of course! It was my first "alternative" craft fair and I was so excited!! I had butterflies just walking into the building. It was jam packed with tables full of felt and vinyl, silver and bronze, yarn and cotton.

I was happy to meet some of my blogging buddies and crafty sponsors in person, like Mallory from Miss Malaprop, Jaime Zollars and Joanna of Ach Ach Leibling! It was so nice meeting you all! And I met some new crafting wonders, most of which I'll be featuring the shops of in the coming days!

I also got to ride a homemade Segway! You just lean forward to go, lean back to slow down and twist the handle to turn. Super duper cool! I wanted to zoom around all over the place but I had to give it back :(
All in all, it was a very fun filled day spent at the the faire that definitely pooped me out! There was so so much to see! I hope to be back next year, and next time, I'll be much more prepared!
