Yes, that's right, Mintd is like a breath of fresh air (that was just too easy) to the indie shopping world. Kinda like etsy, it allows people to set up shops to sell their handmade goods, but there's some additional features that make it interesting...Mintd seems to accommodate sellers outside the US very well with support for listing/selling/purchasing in multiple currencies with handy dandy automatic currency conversions. Also, it emphasizes a whole "style factor" with its lookbook feature, allowing people to craft and present items in a more stylized way, sort of like a catalog vs. typical online shop photos- they show their products 'out in the real world' so to speak, kinda cool. So, give Mintd a taste (again, too easy)- there's lots of neat items to discover, like these gorgeous totebags, handmade in France by Rajul Paris.
Just like with etsy, I'll try to incorporate Mintd finds into my everyday finds often- yay for more shopping fodder!
