About Me

Jena originally started Modish as a way to promote her own jewelry business, along with fellow indie businesses, but the blog grew so large so fast, that her jewelry soon fell by the wayside to support her first passion, writing. In July 2007, she was able to quit her day job and dedicate herself to Modish full time. She feels honored to be part of the handmade community as an editorial voice and feels excited everyday she gets to share a new handmade talent with her readers.
